Today we had some interesting onlookers that they call Rail Birds in America. (Has more meaning in English)

The big mystery tonight is how Julian Gardner went from 112k after the dinner break to Zero k (and out of the event). Of course the interns working for CP missed what must have been one of the biggest pots of the day and still listed Julian with 100k in the last chip count.

Former snooker ace Steve Davis survives and has a real chance of being "in the money" when he returns on Friday (yes he has two free days) with 58k. Tom Parker Bowles made it past the dinner break but is missing now.

Gary "Choirboy" Jones is the best of British with 172k. Tony Bloom has 82k. Paul McCaffrey one of the days chip leaders was down to 40k by 4pm then literally walked off set. This leaves him with 32k and he could easily make the money by staying away again on Friday. Irishman Robin Lacey (an online cash player who has won his ticket online) has 80k.

Play ended early to avoid too many players being eliminated. We have another Day 2 tomorrow.

Which reminds me the payouts have finally been anounced. The winner will receive $12m. Even 15th is worth over $900k.873 players will be paid. 873rd place is worth $14.6k

In a nice move Harrahs have announced a freeroll for players 874- 882. The winner will receive a free entry into next years Main Event.
