Birminghams Stuart Fox has made the final table in the $5k NLHE.
The winner will receive $550764.The top five are guaranteed $105+. We have a
truly international field with Kirill Gerasimov from Russia and Emad Tamtouh
from Melbourne joining two Minnesotans,Tommy Smith,not the ex Liverpool hardman
and Tony Hartman.

Lester (one time backgammon professional and now acting and appearing in the
2006 film Lucky You) who made the final table three years ago in the
main event joins local player Alan Sass who is the chip leader.
I am
not sure if your coverage of last years Main Event was the same as we saw in
America. If so you will remember Barry Paskin the
Englishman who received a lot of air time due to the fact he refused to change
out of his England shirt the whole time he was in Vegas. Other players
complained about the smell.
Barry is back, his hair has been shaved. He
is still wearing an England shirt. I will ask Champie Douglas (Vegas) who was
seated next to him about any odours. Barry won $4095 today for 65th place.
We have Julian Gardner (72k), Ross Boatman (34k), Wigan's
Jon Gaskell (25k) and Patrick Selin (17k) starting day 2. .
