Jason Lester has been playing poker longer than his runner up has been alive. His first WSOP cash was in 1991. However tonight was Jason's first bracelet. Alan Sass (Vegas) had an earlier small cash at this years series. He has a huge following. It was almost embarassing for Lester to receive the bracelet on an empty stage while a hundred fans walked away with Sass. Evelyn NgEven the railbird beggars chose to ignore Lester and tag along with Sass.

The only gossip I know about Lester is he had a fling with Evelyn Ng about 15 months ago. >>>

Stuart Fox from Birmingham moved up a couple of places from overnight fifth to third. Stuart won $142k plus enough change to buy dinner for four.

The toast of Wigan Jon Gaskell cashed in the $1k with rebuys.45th for $6787. Barny Boatman was 26th Julian Gardner 27th. Both received $11701. I heard Negreanu rebought 45 times and did not cash.

Another good final table line up tomorrow in the $1k. Phil Hellmuth makes his third final table and his sixth cash of the series. Making fun of him will be Tony G, especially if ESPN decide to video the table. Ralph Perry will be trying for his second bracelet. Jura Helppi (Finland) is the only European at the table.

Ladbrokes had a party tonight for its internet qualifiers. I am confident I could have crashed but Lester v Sass was heads up and I am more photographer than writer as you may have gathered.

If you have friends playing in the main event let us know and we will try and follow their progress

Michael Mizrachi's (big winner from Florida) lady Lilly (Aidilay) was robbed in the car park late last night. Always a good idea to leave your money in a box at the casino. This is usually a free service.
