Just a short session today playing from 45 to 27.
See Current chips and payout schedule for final 27.

Jaimie Gold increased his lead. Jaimie has 13m, Eric Friborg in second 7.7m. William Thorson, Jeffrey Lissandro and Irishman John Magill still could keep the 12m out of American hands.

Humberto Brenes was eliminated and so Allen Cunningham joins Lissandro as the only top pros remaining. Previous chip leader Dmitri Nobles dropped out like a pacemaker in a staying race finishing 76th for $66k.

Stuart Fox of Birmingham finished 2nd in Event #42 winning $79k.

Jon Caplan of London has his final table chance tomorrow.

The Bellagio Cup started today. A good quality field of 319 playing for $957k first prize.

John Gale, Peter Costa, Praz Banzi and Ian Woodley are the British hopes in the Bellagio event. So far Michael Mizrachi and Men Nguyen have turned their 20k starting chips into 140k.

I was amused to see a steady flow of dealers coming down from the Rio to the Bellagio looking for a few extra days work.

1) Jeff Lissandro 2) William Thorson
