Several Brits in
the lower cash positions. Barney Boatman started chip leader in a very tough
final that include 15 Bracelets. Even the non-Bracelet winners were tough
players. Barney got a lot of action throughout. He lost A-K against Chan's 8-8
but later took on Chan's trip on the flop with a flush draw that filled in to a
roar from the crowd. The dealer got spooked and pushed the pot into Barney's
postion forgetting that Chan had money to come back. Barney went leader after
that and then further ahead when he caught Chan on a bluff. Three handed he was
leader but Sipelstein showed he was not out classed as people had thought he
would be.
Seidel went out with sixes against Queens of Sipelstein to
make it heads-up and Sipelstein a 2:1 leader. It was all over in one hand when
Barney caught top pair with his Ace-Jack when 6-9-J flopped but Sipelstein had
6-6 for trips. Previous event -
