Key
Players |
Nobody told
this Final Table that gambling was legal in Nevada. This was only supposed to
be a TWO-day event.
It took four hours to lose the first 2 players.
Surinder Sunar got all in with A A K 6 to see Giang with K K 8 4. But a 4 on
the flop and an 8 on the river for two small pair took Surinder out. Another 2
hours and they were down to 5.
Phillip Marmorstein ( 1988 World
Backgammon Champion
) stormed from 9th place in chips at the final table to just take the chip lead
before things started to go wrong. Still he finished third, a commendable
performance. |
