Due to the pandemic the 2020 Main Championship Event was postponed until November 2020
finally finishing on 3rd Jan 2021.
The event was held largely online with 2 events held separately, one for the USA (WSOP.com sponsored) and the other
for the rest of the World (GGPoker.com sponsored). The rest of the world event attracted 674 entries and paid out 80 positions held Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Winner Damian Salas.
The USA event attracted 705 entries and paid out down to 107 places. This was held Sunday, December 13, 2020. Winner Joseph
Hebert.
Once both tournaments reached the final nine players, a final table was held liveDecember 15 at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic
for international players. December 28 at the Rio for American players.
The winners of both final tables then met in a heads-up match at the Rio on
January 3 to determine the champion. |
