Key horses
set to have a successful 2019 over the coming flat season |
|
|
|
Following an
incredible Cheltenham festival, we now move our attentions back to the flat,
with the likes of Royal Ascot and the Guineas to look forward to in the coming
months. Here we cover a number of horses who look set to have a lot of success
over the coming season and are worth following. |
|
Too Darn Hot |
|
The Champion two year old of
last season, who won all four starts that culminated with the impressive
success in the Dewhurst at Newmarket. By Dubawi he is bred to be a champion and
is held in the highest regard by his trainer, John Gosden.
He is
expected to again take high order this season and is around even money to kick
off the season with a victory in the 2000 Guineas. He has already proved a very
popular ante post selection for the race amongst punters using the
Ladbrokes promotional codes
that are available. He is also the clear current favourite for the Derby, and
if he stays will take all the beating. Too Darn Hot is without a doubt one of
the most exciting young horses to look forward to over the coming flat season.

Blue Point |
|
The Charlie
Appleby trained five year old Blue Point, is without a doubt the leading
sprinter in training at present. He was an impressive winner of the Kings
Stand last season at Royal Ascot, and all being well, will be aimed there again
in the coming months. He has already made three appearances this season,
winning on each occasion, that culminated with the
recent
victory in the Al Quoz Sprint on World Cup night in Meydan. If he continues
in his current form then he is going to take all the beating where ever he
runs, over five and six furlongs and is a sprinter to follow. |

Newspaperofrecord |
|
The star of the
2018 Breeders Cup and key horse to follow is Newspaperofrecord. The three year
old trained by Chad Brown has already gained a huge reputation following her
unbeaten record, winning each start by over six lengths. This culminated with
the eye catching front running ride in the Juvenile Fillies turf at Churchill
Downs, as she destroyed a high class field. She looks a very exciting horse and
it appears she will be heading over to Royal Ascot for the Coronation Stakes
and even possibly the Guineas at Newmarket prior to this. |
