Players |
When four
handed Dodson led the players in chips but couldn't handle the luck of the
cards when MacIntosh raised with one card to come. Ian had bet with Jacks, the
board stood 10-7-5-4 no flush. John had 8-9 for a straight draw which he
thought he could bluff with. Ian called and had only 6 losers but caught the
Jack for trips and lost to the straight. John took out Johan with another draw
on the flop to make it 3 handed.
Upset with his beat, Dobson became
super aggressive and came straight back to gain chips but was really unhappy
when he got all-in with A-J to see John turn over J-J which this time held up.
Heads up, McIntosh had about a 3-2 chip lead on Mel Weiner. Mel was
never that close again. When John raised on the flop and Weiner reraised all-in
John called with A 7. The flop had come 7 5 4. Weiner had 4 3. With a 2 on the
turn, Mel picked up the draw that made John McIntosh champion |
