tote betXpress
Review Date : 24th Feb 2003

SITE
Totalbet.com (in April 1999 Tote became the first major betting organisation to move into online betting) was a jointly owned venture between the Tote and PA Sporting Life. On May 27th 2002, the site ownership of Totalbet.com reverted to Sporting Life and runs under the UK Betting betting license. A new site Tote BetXpress was created to be run by the Tote.

An all new site as of the review date.

The Good Things
Its clear and easy to understand what the menus mean and where to get your information. The maximum bet available is shown. Allows you bet into the Tote Pool.

The Downside
Not that many markets available plus they are not very concise. You tend to have to look over large pages to get a whole market in view. Pages are a bit fluffy.

Conclusion
Still to try harder with the site construction. Racing coverage benefits because of the Tote Pools.
