bet365

Review Date : 14th July 2008
bet365, is the Internet and telephone betting division of the bet365 Group Limited. The bet365 Group Limited owns the bet365 chain of Licensed betting offices in the UK and is affiliated to the Backhouse bet365 chain of Licensed betting offices.

From a technical point of view this is a good site that allows good access to the odds on offer with ease and good navigatio. Its simple which is essentially what 95% of all web users want.

What you get
You get a whole lot of markets for each sport. They are usually close to the front of the queue when it comes to posting odds. Quite often they will be out of line with the main bookmakers and therfore offer some value.

One of the few sites to clearly state how much you can bet which is good. However I tried to bet £25 on Tim Clark being top South African at the Open and was offered 83 pence. Later the bet was accepted but this is for children only. A few minutes later a similar bet was declined. These people are not in game for serious punters.

Management of accounts is thorough.

Downside
Often when you request the maximun bet you get a silly little number. No technical downside. Lose points for non disclosure of company background.
